Badminton Pan Am is organizing a Para badminton Camp in Sao Paulo, Brasil, with the collaboration of Brasil Badminton Association and the Brazilian Paralympic Committee
Pan Am players and coaches from Barbados, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico and Peru are sharing their experiences and knowledge in practical sessions led by head coaches Kaity Hall (SCO), Derly Delgado (PER) and Ling Haendel (JAP).
The Para badminton camp seeks to prepare the players in their Road to Paris 2024, the upcoming Paralympic Games, which will include more Para badminton classes compared with Tokyo 2020. In addition, coaches are intensifying their knowledge of Paraabadminton training with new methods and strategies for the success of their athletes.
“Players are doing such a good job. It’s been tough daysfor them but they are very great kids and been training very hard” – said Kaity Hall, experienced Para badminton coach.
“I am very happy to be here. Players and coaches are training very hard and I am feeling very confortable using this facilities here in Brazil” – refered coach Ling Haendel during these Camp days.
“I am very happy because it is a very nice atmosphere to have several players from the region gathered in this camp. There is a good level in the players and the coaches are collaborating a lot in correcting and supporting the athletes. Many thanks to Badminton Pan Am for the invitation.” – said Coach Derly Delgado.
