For very first time in history, Para badminton will be played at Parapan American Games and the draws are ready to know the road to the podium for our athletes.

Team Managers Meeting was held, with the presence of delegates of each country, and almost everything has been defined for the shuttle to fly. Draws for Lima 2019 were made for each event and now our players know who will face in the first matches.
Let’s review here about the athletes.
Men’s Singles SL3, SL4, SU5 and SS6 will begin with Groups Stage and then Semifinals and Finals. The same will happen with Women’s Singles WH2 and Men’s Doubles WH1-WH2.
Women’s Singles SU5 and Mixed Doubles SL3-SU5 will be played in Round Robin System.

For every event, only one third place will be awarded and there will be a match for 5th place if is necesary.
The meeting was led by BWF International Delegate, Mr. Enrique Charadan, Lima 2019 Sport Manager, Mr. Martin Del Valle, and Lima 2019 Referees Mr. Jeff Bell and Mr. Federico Valdez.
Para badminton competition will start on August 29, and we will meet the first Parapan Am Games champions on August 31 and September 1st.
