Athletes from Canada, United States and Peru took the Pan Am Junior 2019 podiums.
From July 16 to 20, the Individual Event of the XXVIII Pan Am Junior Championships 2019, was held in Moncton, Canada, with participation of the best Pan Am Junior Players from Barbados, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Trinidad & Tobago, United States and host Canada.
Canada led the medals table with 15 gold, 12 silver and 27 bronze. United States got 10 gold, 13 silver and 18 bronze and Peru won 4 bronze medals.

Both Canada and United States exceeded the number of medals obtained in the previous edition, 24 and 38 respectively. Unfortunately, Peru won 9 medals less than in the previous edition (13) and Brazil could not get on the podium in this tournament.
Junior Champions
Brian Yang (CAN), who missed the 2018 edition by and injury, shined in his last Pan Am Junior Championships winning 2 gold and 1 silver in U19 category. Natalie Chi (USA) surprised in Women Singles reaching the podium top, after overcome youth olympic player Fernanda Saponara (PER) in Semifinals.

Canadians Victor Lai and Jeslyn Chow got the Singles U17 titles. Also Lai won gold in Mixed Doubles with Jessica Cheng and bronze in Doubles with Win Liao. While, Jeslyn took the podium top in Women’s Doubles and won bronze in Mixed Doubles with Jadon Tsang.
