Canada and the United States dominated the Pan Am Team 2018. Jamaica and Peru also achieved great results for their countries.

The Award Ceremony of the II Male & Female Pan Am Team Continental Championships was presided by the President of the Badminton Pan American Confederation (BPAC), Mr. Vishu Tolan, accompanied by Trinidad & Tobago Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs , Mr. Darryl Smith, and Mr. German Valdez, BPAC Development Director.
In men, Canada ranked first in the competition, followed by the United States and Jamaica.
In women, Canada and the United States occupied the same locations as men, and Peru won the bronze medal.
In addition, the BPAC President made a special recognition to Mr Rahul Rampersad, president of Trinidad & Tobago Badminton Association, for the organization and the great development of the tournament.
Likewise, Mr. Rampersad thanked the support of Mr. Darryl Smith, Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs.
Special thanks to the referes (Mr. Trevor McCain and Mr. Enrique Charadan), umpires and line judges for the good performance during the tournament.
