The Badminton Pan Am Male & Female Cup 2020 will be held from February 13 to 16 in Salvador – Bahia, Brazil. Pan American Center of Judo will be witness stage of the best performance of the best players in the region.
Canada, Falkland Islands, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, United States and host Brazil are the teams that will compete looking for the cup, and will players that are seeking points in the Road To Tokyo 2020 Ranking.
Defending champion, Canada, will compete with their best athletes where Pan Am Games Champions stand out: Michelle Li, Jason Ho-Shue & Nyl Yakura, Rachel Honderich & Kristen Tsai and Joshua Hurlburt-Yu & Josephine Wu.
USA also had Pan Am Games medalist in the teams as Kuei-Ya Chen, Phillip Chew & Ryan Chew and Howard Shu.
Brazil stars Ygor Coelho, Fabiana Silva, Fabricio Farias, Jaqueline Lima, among others, will represent the host showing all the talent that made them conquer medals at Lima 2019.
Guatemala’s star Kevin Cordon is one of the best cards in the Male Team for this championship, while Nikte Sotomayor, bronze at Lima 2019, will lead the women’s team through the feat.
This event would include the participation, for the first time in Pan Am Championships history, of the Falkland Islands, who will compete with a women’s team in search of the crown.
