Pan Am players from Costa Rica, Guatemala, Trinidad and Tobago, United States and host Mexico won the medals of the II Mexico Future Series 2022, held in Mexico City, from August 30 to September 4.

Sanchita Pandey from USA won the gold in Singles after defeating locals Haramara Gaitan in Semifinals and Vanessa Garcia in the Final. Katelin Ngo (USA) completed the WS podium.
Pandey also took the gold in Mixed Doubles along with Ryan Zheng, while another USA duo, Kelvin Chong and Katelin Ngo, reached the silver. Nicholas Bonkowsky/Chequeda De Boulet (TTO) and Andres Gonzalez/Rebeca La Torre (MEX) won the bronze medals.
Mexico’s young star Luis Montoya took the MS podium top. Seeded 2, Luis, defeated players from Canada, USA, Mexico and England to reach the final where he defeated seeded 1 Job Castillo in a 3-games-match (21-16, 10-21, 22-20). Armando Gaitan (MEX) and Larry Pong (ENG) reached the 3/4 positions.
Montoya and Castillo also won a silver medal in Doubles. The mexican duo defeated duos from Mexico and Guatemala to reach the final where they faced Lap Pong/Larry Pong (ENG). Andres Lopex/Gerardo Saavedra (MEX) and Jose Luis Granados/Antonio Ortiz (GUA) won the bronze medals.
In Women’s Doubles, the gold medals were for Paula Lozoya/Fatima Rio (MEX), the silver medals were for Sofia Claudio/Cristina Perez, and the bronze for Lauren Villalobos and Cristal Villarreal from Costa Rica.
