1. At what age did you start in Badminton and how did you get into this sport?
“The Federation made a presentation to invite people with disabilities to practice Badminton, I liked the idea, I tried it and I loved it. This was 3 years ago”.

2. In how many tournaments did you participate and which have been your best results?
“I have already participated in 5 tournaments and my best result was to go to the World Championships”.

3. To how many countries has Badminton taken you?
“I have already traveled to 3 countries”.

4. What anecdotes come to your mind when you remember your trips?
“Many things have happened to me, but the most curious thing was to go to the World Championships in England, which was also my first tournament. I saw an incredible level of play and people with a unique and spectacular mentality”.

5. Which are your short and medium term objectives as a Badminton player?
“I have as objective to get a medal in the Pan-American Games and also qualify for the Olympics”.

6. Do you perform other activities in parallel, such as studies or work?
“I am a professor at the PUCP University, I teach courses in managerial skills and also work in Human Resources doing trainings”.

7. How sacrificed is it to train, study and work at the same time?
“It is very complicated, having to work and move from one place to another is annoying, having to train after the whole day of work, is intense, but when I am playing, I forget the rest of the world and this makes me happy”.

8. How do you keep commitment and discipline in your life?
“Have a healthier life and have a reason for overcoming”.

9. In addition to sporting satisfactions, what other things did Badminton give you?
“In fact, many things, Badminton has given me a family with incredible people and very humble, we help each other a lot. Also gives me the opportunity to represent my country”.

 

 

 

10. Which are your favorite hobbies?
“I have fun playing Badminton, it’s part of my life”.

“Isaac Núñez”.

12.  Which club do you represent?
“I represent the Federation”.

13. Is Para – Badminton popular in your country?
“In general, the Paralympic sports don’t have much diffusion, but thanks to the support of the internet and people of great heart that support us, now it becomes better known and it is growing”.

 

14. What message would you like to tell to those who follow this interview?
“Find something that catch your eyes and try it, you don’t lose anything if you try it.   Maybe you will find your passion”.
