Winners in Mexico – Pan Am Circuit 2023

Pan Am Players from Canada, Guatemala, Mexico and United States won the medals at the XIV Mexican International 2023, Pan Am Circuit event held in Tijuana, Mexico, from November 21 to 26.

Talia Ng (CAN) defeated Ishika Jaiswal (USA) in the final to reach the Women’s Singles crown. The bronze medals were for local Vanessa Garcia and Nicole Krawczyk (USA).

Vanessa Garcia also won a gold medal in Women’s Doubles, along with Cecilia Madera. They defeated Joceline Lopez and Mayte Macias (MEX) in the final. Suneri Chinthalapati and Anvita Jamsandekar (USA) reached the bronze medal.

Kevin Cordon won the gold in Men’s Singles after a great tournament. Starting as a seeded 1, Cordon defeated players from United States, Hungary and Croatia to reach the podium top. Mark Shelley Alcala (USA) got the bronze medal in this event.

Luis Montoya and Miriam Rodriguez (MEX) won the Mixed Doubles gold medal after starting as seeded 1 pair and defeated duos from Mexico and United States. Irving Perez/Cecilia Madera (MEX) won the silver medal while the bronze medals were for Arturo Hernandez/Naomi Marmolejo (MEX) and Zicheng Xu/Nicole Krawczyk (USA).

The Men’s Doubles gold medal was for Zicheng Zu and Tian Qi Zhang (USA) who defeated locals Job Castillo/Luis Montoya in the final. Hooman Bagheri and Derek Yu (CAN) won the bronze medal of this event.

The Pan Am Circuit 2023 will continue with the V El Salvador International 2023, the Yonex Canadian International Callenge 2023 and the French Guiana International 2023.
