Winners in Mexico – Pan Am Circuit 2024

Pan Am Players from Canada, Guatemala, Peru, United States and host Mexico, won the medals of the XV Mexican International 2024, Pan Am Circuit event held in Aguascalientes, Mexico, from October 29 to November 3.

Miriam Rodriguez (MEX) won 2 gold medals in this competition. In Women’s Doubles, Miriam and Romina Fregoso began as seeded 1 pair and defeated duos from Mexico and Guatemala to reach the final where they defeated Cecilia Madera/Isabella Puente (MEX) in straight games. The bronze medals were for Fernanda Munar/Rafaela Munar (PER) and Nikte Sotomayor/Diana Corleto (GUA).

In Mixed Doubles, Miriam Rodriguez and Luis Montoya got the gold after defeating duos from Mexico, United States and Guatemala. In the final, they faced Christopher Martinez/Diana Corleto (GUA) and defeated the guatemalan duo in straight games (21-16, 21-11). Yu-Yuan Chang/Katelin Ngo (USA) and Juan Torres/Mayte Macias (MEX) got the bronze medals of the event.

In Singles, Mark Shelley Alcala (USA) defeated Luis Montoya (MEX) in the final and won the gold medal. While Kevin Cordon (GUA) and Victor Lai (CAN) got the bronze medals. For the female side, Olympian Nikte Sotomayor (GUA) got the silver medal after losing the final against Giana Stiglich (ITA). The bronze medals were for Rafaela Munar (PER) and Sabrina Solis (MEX)

Christopher Martinez and Jonathan Solis (GUA) defeated duos from Mexico, United States and Canada to win the gold medal. Yu-Yuan Chang/Wang Yen Pang (USA/TPE) got the silver medal while Jose Luis Granados/Antonio Ortiz (GUA) and Daniel Leung/Gurbaksh Saini (CAN) got the bronze medals of the event.

The Pan Am Circuit 2024 will continue with the XV Suriname International during November.
