- At what age did you start in Badminton and how did you get into this sport?
“I started playing badminton in my town, Suchitoto, at 9 years old, since my stepfather started working on the federation. I used to play soccer but my parents instead of giving me footballs, they gave me rackets, so I liked it”.
- In how many tournaments have you participated and which have been your best results?
“I have participated in 15 international tournaments and my best result was to win in Colombia last year”.

“I think 11 countries”.
- What anecdotes comes to your mind when you remember your trips?
“When I returned from Mexico, I could not travel with the racket as carry on, then the lady began to explain to me why I could not do it and I missed the flight ….”
- Which are your short and medium term objectives as a Badminton player?
“Win the Pan-American Junior Championships in Canada, this year and be one of the best in America at Lima Games 2019”.
- Do you perform other activities in parallel to your career as an athlete, such as studies or work?
“For the moment, I have one year left in school and I will then study Administration at university.”
- How sacrificed is it to train and study at the same time?
“It is difficult because I have very little time to do my homework or to study for exams and then go to train”.
- How do you keep the commitment and discipline in your life?
“Responsibility, because I have to make a schedule to be able to train and study at the same time, and dedication so that my parents do not punish me if I get bad grades”.
- What has Badminton given to you?
“Travel, meet new people and different cultures and especially make friends”.
- Which are your favorite hobbies?
“Play soccer and watch TV”.

“My stepfather Antonio”.

“In El Salvador there are no clubs, it is only the federation”.

“It is not so popular but it is expanding”.

“Since I was 10 years, last year I participated and won the silver medal in U17”.
