Cuba Badminton Federation held a course for Shuttle Time Teachers and Tutors in Artemisa, Cuba, on May 11.
Yosvany Junquera, Shuttle Time Tutor, was in charge of directing the training, which started with a theoretical part where the Physical Education teachers were introduced to topics related to Shuttle Time as the philosophy of the course, objectives, teaching resources, etc. In addition, the attendees participated in a debate about the applications of Shuttle Time in their educational institutions, and were evaluated to check the knowledge acquired.
The practical part counted on the execution of basic fundamentals and rules of badminton. Likewise, the participants had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge by directing a badminton class to children, using the resources that the program offers.
Artemisa, Cuba, now has 18 new Shuttle Time Teachers and a new Shuttle Time Tutor thanks to this training. Congratulations!!!
