According with the Coaching Experience project, Pan Am coaches will participate in the Pan Am Junior Academy, training that will be held after the Pan Am Junior Championships 2018, in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil.
Thobarich De La Mota (DOM) and Christina Aicardi (PER) are the coaches candidates who, together with Brazilian coaches, will share experiences in the Academy, which will be directed by head coach Eric Pang (NED) from July 27 to 31.
De La Mota, coach of Bayaguana, Dominican Republic, has contributed to the development of badminton in his region, bringing outstanding players to the Dominican team.
Aicardi, coach of the Peruvian team, and former badminton player, has participated in the achievements of the Peruvian team both as a player and as a coach.
