“I started in badminton at 4 years old. My dad is a badminton coach and he encouraged me to start in sports.”

In how many tournaments have you participated and which have been your best results?
Approximately 7 tournaments. My best result was the third place in Mixed Doubles at Guatemala International.”

To how many countries has Badminton taken you?
“Badminton has taken me to El Salvador, USA, Mexico and Canada.”

How sacrificed is it to train, study and work at the same time?
“It is very difficult because I have few hours to study and sometimes I have to miss training.”

In addition to sport satisfactions, what other thigs does badminton give you?
“Badminton has given me responsibility, punctuality and discipline.”

Which are your favorite hobbies?
“Listen to music and watch badminton videos.”

Who was your first coach?
“My first coach was my dad, Juan Antonio Granados Friely.”

What is the hardest part of being a high level athlete?
“The most difficult thing is not achieving the expected results and not having a lot of free time.”

What would you say to people who want to practice badminton but see that it is not very popular in their country?
“I would say that it does not matter that badminton is not popular as long as you feel passionate about playing it.”
