Last weekend, Pan Am athletes Ygor Coelho and Xiaodong Sheng won medals in Europe and Asia, respectly.
Pan Am Games 2019 champion, Ygor Coelho (BRA), won the silver medal at Scottish Open 2019, and International Challenge tournament held in Glasgow, Scotland, from November 21 to 24.
Coelho returned to the good results and got victories against athletes from Belgium, Denmark and France. In Semifinals, Ygor defeated Canada’s Jason Ho-Shue, who won 3/4 place, and could not overcome seeded one, Lakshya Sen from India, in the Final, losing in a 3-games match by 21-18, 19-21, 18-21.

In Asia, Xiaodong Sheng (CAN) also returned to the podium top after winning gold at India International Challenge 2019 held in Mumbai from November 20 to 24.
Sheng defeated athletes from India and Thailand to reach the finals and take the title after facing Kaushal Dharmamer (IND) winning by 21-19, 8-21 and 21-14.
