Lam Won in Africa

USA’s Timothy Lam is in search of the qualification to Tokyo 2020 and has added a new crown at Zambia International 2019.

Last weekend, Lam won the gold medal in Zambia, when he defeated athletes from Algeria, Egypt and Zambia to reaching the Final and finally getting the Men’s Singles crown.

To date, he is ranked 36 in the Road to Tokyo 2020 Ranking and has until the end of April to ensure his spot in the next Olympic Games.

With 22 years old, Timothy is currently number 115 in the World Ranking, near to his best position (103 in September 2019) showing a great year for the USA’s player.

Now he will compete at South Africa International 2019 that will be held in Pretoria from December 5 to 8.
