About the Para badminton Pan Am Home Cup 2020:

The Para badminton Pan Am Home Cup 2020 will be held in three events: Short Stature Event, Wheelchair Event & Standing Event.

  • Players: 6 Players for SH Event, 6 Players for WH Event and 7 Players for Standing Event.
  • Bases: For Standing Event: Competition in direct elimination format where the player who first wins three of five challenges advances to the next round. For SH and WH Events, the competition will be in groups, where the best of each group will play the final.
  • Challenges: The group of challenges is made up of three basic pillars: control, precision and skill, which means that the player must maximize their skills in order to achieve each of the challenges.
  • Matches: Each match has the simultaneous participation of the two players and the team of technical officials, which makes it possible to have adequate control within the development of each of the challenges.
  • Awards: The first two places in each event will be awarded.
