“My presence in Lima 2019 is confirmed, thank God and the federation that confirmed the places and the players that we are going to participate.”

When did you say: yes, I will dedicate myself to badminton?
“That started around the age of 8, when I entered the junior team of Dominican Republic. At that time there were many players and I saw my teammates and wanted to do the same or better than them. When I finished high school I said that I was going to dedicate myself to badminton and here I am, representing my country.”

Which is your biggest dream?
“My biggest dream is to go to an Olympic Games”

Which is the hardest thing about being a high performance athlete?“They are many complicated things. Leave commitments, home, abandon things to achieve our dream. I have spent birthdays away from my family, in a tournament, but if we want to achieve something in our life we have to make sacrifices.”

Which do you prefer?

– Olympic Games or World Championships? “Olympic Games”
– Winter or Summer? “Summer”

– Badminton player? “Kento Momota, Osleni Guerrero y Kevin Cordon”

What message would you give to young people who are just starting to practice badminton?
“I would tell them to make an effort because there is nothing that can not be achieved with sacrifice. Follow your dreams and put everything in the hands of God, because I know if you put it in the hands of God you can achieve it all.”
