Champions in Cuba – Pan Am Circuit 2025

Pan Am players from Canada, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico, United States and host Cuba took the podiums of the XXIII Torneo Internacional Giraldilla 2025, Pan Am Circuit Event held in La Habana, Cuba.

Guatemalan’s athletes led 3 of the 5 events, winning the gold in Men’s Singles with Yeison del Cid, in Men’s Doubles with Jonathan Solis and Christopher Martinez, and in Mixed Doubles with Christopher Martinez and Diana Corleto. Also Kevin Cordon got the silver and Adriana Barrios got bronze in Singles, while in Doubles they reached bronze medals with Ramiro Espinoza/Yeison Del Cid and Adriana Barrios/Luisa Santizo.

Locals got 3 medals in this event with a gold medal in Women’s Doubles winning by the experienced Taymara Oropesa along with Leyanis Contreras. In Men’s Doubles they won the silver with Juan Bencomo and Roberto Herrera while in Mixed Doubles, Roberto Herrera y Taymara Oropesa reached the bronze.

Costa Rica reached 2 medals in this event. Gianpiero Cavallotti/Jose Cambronero got the bronze medal in Men’s Doubles, while Arianna Rodriguez and Kimberly Vindas did the same in Women’s Doubles.

The Dominican Republic marked its return to international competition with a silver medal in Women’s Doubles thanks to Alissa Acosta and Daniela Acosta.

Enrico Asuncion (USA) and Sabrina Solis (MEX) won bronze in Singles. Nathan Appave and Eyota Kwan (CAN) did the same in Mixed Doubles.

The Pan Am Circuit 2025 just started with this event and will continue with our Pan Am Individual 2025.
