Athletes from Brazil, Canada, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, USA and host Guatemala won medals at VI Guatemala International Series 2019 held in Guatemala City from September 25 to 29.

Guatemalas star Kevin Cordon won one more gold in his country. This time, Cordon defeated Pan Am players from Canada, USA and Mexico to reach his 6th gold in this tournament. Lino Muñoz (MEX) won the silver medal after he couldn’t finish playing the final because of an injury. B.R. Sankeerth (CAN) and Bernardo Atilano (POR) got the bronze medals.
Brazil got 3 gold medals this time.
Fabricio Farias & Jaqueline Lima won the title in Mixed Doubles after defeating locals
Jonathan Solis/Diana Corleto in the final. Farias also got the crown in Men’s Doubles with
Francielton Farias, while Jaqueline Lima did the same in Women’s Doubles with
Samia Lima, after defeating seeded one duo,
Daniela Macías & Danica Nishimura (PER).
In Women’s Singles, Brazil also won a medal.
Fabiana Silva got the silver after losing against Ghaida Nurul (INA).
Nairoby Jimenez (DOM) got the bronze just like Katerina Tomolova (CZE).
