Pan Am Players from Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala and United States won medals at the III Guatemala Future Series 2022, Pan Am Circuit event held in Guatemala city from November 8 to 13.

Alejandra and Mariana Paiz won the gold in Women’s Doubles (featured image). They started as seeded 1 duo and defeated Fatima Centeno/Daniela Hernandez in the final to get the podium top. Margareth Revelo/Gabriela Barrios (ESA) and Adriana Barrios (GUA)/Lauren Villalobos (CRC) won the bronze medals.
In Men’s Doubles, local duo Jose Luis Granados/Antonio Ortiz defeated duos from El Salvador and Guatemala to reach the final where they defeated Manuel Mejia/Kennet Suria (ESA) in straight-games (21-9, 21-9). Ramiro Espinoza/Jose Ochoa (GUA) and Josué Duran/Jose Orellana (ESA) reached the 3/4 places of the event.
In Mixed Doubles, seeded 2 duo, Christopher Martinez and Mariana Paiz (GUA) won the silver medal after defeating duos from Canada and Colombia to reach the final where they lost against Daoudal/Hoareau (FRA). The bronze medals were for Javier Alas/Fatima Centeno (ESA) and Miguel Quirama/Juliana Giraldo (COL).
Juliana Giraldo won the silver medal in Singles. She defeated players from El Salvador and Guatemala to reach the final where she lost against Malya Hoareau (FRA). Mariana Palacios (GUA) and Johnna Rymes got the bronze medals.
In Men’s Singles, Justin Ma and Saketh Upadhya from USA won the bronze medals after lost against Yuta Kikuchi (JPN) and Tino Daoudal (FRA) respectively in Semifinals. Kikuchi won the gold after defeating Daoudal in the final by 21-13, 21-16.
The Pan Am Circuit 2022 will continue with the Peru Challenge 2022 this week and the XIII Mexican International 2022.
