Pan Am Players from Canada, Ecuador, Guatemala, Jamaica, United States and host Mexico, won the medals at the III Mexico Future Series 2023, Pan Am Circuit event held in Guadalajara, from August 29 to September 3.

Olympian Nikte Sotomayor (GUA) won the gold medal in Women’s Singles after defeating players from Mexico and Canada, including seeded 1, Vanessa Garcia in Semifinals, and seeded 2, olympian Haramara Gaitan, in the final. Vanessa Garcia and Sabrina Solis won the bronze medals.
Experienced player, Luis Ramon Garrido got the gold in the Singles after defeating players from USA, Denmark, and Mexico, including seeded 2 Mark Shelley Alcala (USA) in Semifinals and William Hu (USA) in the final. Samuel Ricketts (JAM) and Alcala reached the bronze medals of the event.
Jose Luis Granados and Antonio Ortiz (GUA) reached the Men’s Doubles crown. Starting as seeded 2, Guatemalan duo defeated pairs from Mexico and USA/Canada to reach the final where the faced Kevin Fu/Nicholas Lai (USA) winning in a 3-games-match (21-14, 14-21, 21-14). Kevin Barkham/Victor Ho (CAN) and Ryan Ma (USA)/Daniel Zhou (CAN) were the bronze medalist.
Locals Romina Fregoso and Miriam Rodriguez won the crown in Women’s Doubles. Mexican pair dominated the draw defeating other mexican duos. Joceline Lopez/Mayte Macias reached the silver medal while Maria Avila/Cinthia Yammiel and Paula Lozoya/Fatima Rio got the bronze medals.
Luis Montoya and Miriam Rodriguez (MEX) won the gold medal after defeating Daniel Zhou/Chloe Hoang (CAN) in a 3-games-match 21-13, 23-25, 21-14. The bronze medals were for Henry Huebla/Maria Delia Zambrano (ECU) and Arturo Salazar/Aline Angel (MEX).
The Pan Am Circuit 2023 will continue with the Guatemala International Challenge 2023 this week.
