Pan Am outstading players from Brazil, Canada, Guatemala, Peru and United States took the podiums at Peru Challenge 2023, Pan Am Circuit event held in Lima, Peru, from September 20 to 24.

Ines Castillo (PER) reached the silver medal after defeating players from Ecuador, Luxembourg, Hungary and United States but losing in the final against Kaoru Sugiyama (JPN). Bronze medals were for Disha Gupta (USA) and Keisha Az (AZE).
Ty Lindeman (CAN) won 2 gold medals in this tournament. First, along with olympian Josephine Wu (CAN), they defeated Vinson Chiu and Jennie Gai (USA) in the final and got the Mixed Doubles crown. Brazilians Davi Silva and Sania Lima defeated seeded 1 duo, Ellis/Smith (ENG), in the second round and finally reached the bronze medal.
In Men’s Doubles, Lindeman and Kevin Lee (CAN) defeated Adam Dong and Nyl Yakura (CAN) to reach the second gold medal for Canada. And also Davi Silva, along with Fabricio Farias, got the bronze medal of the event.
Annie Xu and Kerry Xu (USA) won the gold medal in Women’s Doubles after defeating duos from Canada, Australia and Brazil. Jaqueline Lima and Samia Lima reached the silver medal after defeating seeded one duo, Josephine Wu/Catherine Choi in Semifinals. Wu/Choi got the bronzes along with Ea/Sommerville (AUS).
Olympian Kevin Cordon (GUA) started the competition as seeded 2 and defeated players from Brazil, USA, Azerbaijian and Italy to reach the final where he lost against japanesse Takuma Kawamoto. Victor Lai (CAN) and Giovanni Toti (ITA) reached the bronze medals.
Pan Am players will continue preparing for Pan Am Games 2023 with the Venezuela International 2023 and Peru International Series 2023 next month.
