Pan Am Players from Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela won the medals at the Venezuela International 2023, Pan Am Circuit event held in Maracay, Venezuela, from October 4 to 8.

Mexican athletes took the podiums top in Doubles.
Luis Montoya and Miriam Rodriguez won the gold in Mixed Doubles after defeating duos from Venezuela and Peru to reach the final and defeat Job Castillo/Romina Fregoso also from Mexico. Yonatan Linarez/Nairoby Jimenez (DOM) and Adriano Viale/Fernanda Saponara (PER) won the bronze medals of the event.
Montonya also got the gold in Men’s Doubles along with Job Castillo. They faced duos from Venezuela and Dominican Republic to reach the crown. Yonatan Linarez and Angel Marinez (DOM) won the silver medal while locals Frank Barrios/William Barrios and Joiser Calanche/Abrahan Gutierrez got the bronze medals.
Rodriguez also won another gold medal in Women’s Doubles. Along with Romina Fregoso, the mexican duo defeated local pairs and Sabrina Solis/Haramara Gaitan in the final (WO). Juleisy Acosta/Nairoby Jimenez (DOM) and Karen Kampos/Barbara Lamas (VEN) reached the 3/4 places of the event.
Ines Castillo (PER) added another medal to her career after winning the gold medal in Singles. Castillo started the competition as seeded 1 and defeated players from Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Guatemala and Italy to reach the podium top. The bronze medals were for Vanessa Garcia (MEX) and Nikte Sotomayor (GUA).
Job Castillo also won a medal in Singles. The mexican player defeated players from Venezuela and Guatemala but lost in Semifinals against Fabio Caponio (ITA) who reached the silver medal after losing in the final with Giovanni Toti (ITA).
The Pan Am Circuit 2023 will continue with the Peru International Series 2023 this week, just before the Pan Am Games Santiago 2023.
