Brazil International Series 2021 was held last week with participation of Pan Am players from Dominican Republic and host Brazil.

From September 9 to 12, Teresina city hosted the Brazil International Series 2021, Pan Am Circuit 2021 tournament that had the locals players as champions in each event.

Pan Am Games medalists: Jaqueline Lima/Samia Lima, Francielton Farias/Fabricio Farias and Fabricio Farias/Jaqueline Lima showed a good performance during the tournament, winning the gold medals in doubles events.

Samia and Jaqueline reached the crown in WD after defeating Sania Lima/Julia Viana Vieira in the final. The WD podium had a Dominican Republic duo in the 3/4 places. Alisa Acosta and Clarisa Pie, seeded 2 of the event, reached semi-finals where she lost against Lima/Vieira duo, reaching a bronze medal along with Maria Clara Lima and Maria Julia Nascimento.

Farias brothers won the MD final against Izak Batalha/Artur Pomoceno in straight games (21-18, 21-10). Duos Jonathan Matias/Donnians Oliveira and Vinicios Santos/Marcos Sousa reached the 3/4 places.

Mixed Doubles champions were Jaqueline Lima and Fabricio Farias who defeated Artur Pomoceno and Samia Lima in the final while Marcos Sousa/Sania Lima and Matheus Voigt/Tamires Santos won the bronze medals.

In Singles, Champion of Pan Am Junior 2018, Jonathan Matias, won the crown after defeating Seeded 1, Artur Pomoceno, in Semi-Finals, and Donnians Oliveira in the final match. Deivid Silva, who won a bronze medal in the last Pan Am Junior 2021, reached the 3/4 places along with Pomoceno.

Juliana Viana Vieira reached the podium top of Women’s Singles event. She defeated seeded 1, Nairoby Jimenez (DOM) in Quarterfinals and the experienced Samia Lima and Jaqueline Lima in Semi-finals and final respectively. Jeisiane Alves and Samia won the bronce medals of the event.

The Pan Am Circuit 2021 continues in Guatemala with the VII Guatemala Junior International 2021 and the VII Guatemala International Series 2021, where Pan Am Players will compete for the medals and reach more points in the World Ranking.
