Athletes from Barbados, Canada, Guatemala, Peru, United States and host Jamaica took the podiums at VI Jamaica International 2020, first tournaments of the Pan Am Circuit 2020 held at the National Indoor Sport Centre in Kingston, Jamaica, from March 5 to 8.

The first tournaments of the Pan Am Circuit 2020 had the participation of athletes from Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Barbados, Brazil, Bulgary, Canada, Cuba, Czech Republic, Guatemala, Hungary, Jamaica, Japan, Iceland, Mauritius, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, United States and Wales, who were seeking points for the qualification to Olympic Games 2020.
Guatemala’s Jonathan Solis won two gold medals in this edition. In Mixed Doubles, Solis with Diana Corleto won the crown after defeating locals Dennis Coke and Tahlia Richardson, reaching the first gold for Guatemala ,and improving the result they got last year (bronze). USA duo, Matthew Fogarty & Isabel Zhong and Shae Michael & Sabrina Scott (BAR) got the bronze medals in this event.
Also, in Men’s Doubles, Solis and Anibal Marroquin, duo seeded one, defeated local duo Samuel Ricketts and Shane Wilson in the final, winning the title and a new gold for their country. Dennis Coke & Matthew Lee (JAM) and Shae Michael & Gavin Robinson (BAR) won the 3/4 places.
