  1. At what age did you start in Badminton and how did you get into this sport?

“I started playing it when I was 10 years old, I was in physical education class and one day we tried badminton and I liked it.”

  1. In how many tournaments did you participate and which have been your best results?

“More than 20 tournaments and my best result was to win the gold medal in doubles, Surinam 2016.”

  1. To how many countries has badminton taken you?

“I think almost all America.”

  1. What anecdotes come to your mind when you remember your trips?

“Barbados is a small country, and as a team we help each other a lot, so once in a championship we started to help the other teams that needed help with their materials or practices.”

  1. Which are your short and medium term objectives as a badminton player?

“Be the best and beat everyone, qualify for the Pan-American championships and Olympics.”

  1. Do you perform other activities in parallel to your career as an athlete, such as study or work?

“I am in the last year of university, studying accounting and finance.”

  1. How sacrificed is it to train and study at the same time?

“It is complicated but I always try to maintain a balance to be able to do both, when I have to travel and I have homework and practices, I take all the material to advance and not waste time.”

  1. How do you keep commitment and discipline in your life?

“Has taught me to go ahead, overcome the obstacles and never doubt.”

  1. Apart from sporting satisfactions what other things did badminton give you?

“Keeps me in shape, also meet amazing people and know new cultures.”

  1. Which are your favorite hobbies?

“Watch action movies.”

  1. Who was you first coach?

“Mr. Ford.”

  1. Which club do you represent?

“Shuttler Badminton Club.”

  1. Is badminton popular in your country?

“Definitely not.”

    1. Have you ever played at a Junior Pan Am Championships?

“Yes, the last was in Guatemala and I did not get the results I wanted.”
