“I started in badminton when I was 17.”

In how many tournaments did you participate and what were your best results?
“I participated in approximately 7 tournaments, and my best result was reach Quarter Finals at Giraldilla 2018.”

To how many countries have badminton taken you?
“With badminton I traveled to 5 countries.”

Which are your short and medium-term objectives as a badminton player?
“I would like to win an international tournament, be the number 1 in Pan Am Ranking and get an Olympic Games.”

Do you perform other activities in parallel to your career as an athlete such as study or work?
“Yes, I study business administration and work in a soda distributor.”

How sacrificed is it to train and study at the same time?
“It is quite difficult because one is very tired and does not have much free time to rest.”

In addition to sport satisfactions, what others things does badminton give you?
“Badminton has taught me to be stronger and not give up, because who perseveres, reaches.”

Which are your favorite hobbies?
“Listen to music.”

“My first coach was Vishnu Seixas.”

Is Badminton popular in your country?
“Not really, popular sports are baseball and soccer.”

What would you say to people who want to practice badminton but see that it is not very popular in their country?
“I would say that although badminton is not very famous, it has many good things. It helps you to fight for what you want and whoever fights, achieves.”
