The BWF World Junior Mixed Team Championships 2023 just ended showing great perfomances of our players during this days. Now, they are starting the Individual Competition.

Individual Event Schedule

USA team started the competition in Group H defeating Slovenia, Peru and Iceland but losing against Thailand in a tough tie (2-3) reaching the 2nd place of the group and qualifyng to the 9 to 16 stage. There, USA played really good ties defeating teams like Denmark (3-2) and Hong Kong China (3-2) for finally get the 10th position of the Championships.

Team Canada got the 17 position after reaching 3rd position in Group B, with victories against Lithuania (5-0) and Mauritius (WO) and defeats against Japan (0-5) and singapore (1-4). In the 17 to 24 Stage, Canada defeated Netherlands (3-2) but lost against Poland and Portugal (3-0).

Brazil also reached the 17 to 24 Stage after defeating Cook Islands (5-0) but losing against Germany (4-1) and India (5-0). Finally, Brazilian Team reached the 24 place after tough matches against Poland (2-3), Netherlands (0-3) and New Zealand (0-3).

Peru Team shared Group H with USA and got a victory against Iceland (5-0) and defeats against Thailand (5-0), USA (5-0), and Slovenia (3-2).in the 25 to 32 Stage, Peru defeated Slovakia (3-2) but lost with Spain (3-1) and Austria (3-1).

THe BWF World Junior Championships 2023 is taking place in Spokane, Washington, United States of America, and our Pan Am Technical Officials are part of this important event.
