Pan Am Para Badminton players from Brazil and Peru won medals at the Spanish Para Badminton International Toledo 2023, BWF Para badminton International event Level 1, held in Toledo, Spain, from March 1 to 5.

In MS SH6, brazilian star Vitor Tavares won the crown after defeating players from Hong Kong China, France and India to reach the Semifinals where Vitor defeated seeded 1 Chu Man Kai (HKG) in a tough match (21-18, 22-20). In the Final, Tavares defeated Charles Noakes (FRA) in a 3-games-match (20-22,21-19,21-10).
Giuliana Poveda and Rubi Fernandez won the gold in Women’s Doubles after defeating duos from Hong kong China, Chinese Taipei and Poland. Also, in Singles, Fernandez won bronze medal while Poveda won the silver medal after defeating seeded 1 Sumathy (IND) but lost against Marlina (INA) in the final.
Nilton Quispe and Giuliana Poveda won silver medal in Mixed Doubles after defeating duos from Hong Kong China and India but losing in the final against Subhan/Marlina (INA).
World Champion Pilar Jauregui, won the silver in Women’s Singles WH2 after defeating seeded 1, Renggli (SUI), Watson (AUS), Gyeoul (KOR) and Lee Sun Ae (KOR) but losing in the Final against seeded 2, Yuma Yamazaki (JPN) in a tough 3-games-match (21-15, 16-21, 21-12). Jauregui also won a bronze medal in Mixed Doubles along with Yuri Ferrigno (ITA).
