Enrique ‘Kikin’ Rispa, Peruvian Para-Badminton athlete, presented his new book “Supernova” at a ceremony held on March 26 in the district of Miraflores, Lima-Peru, in coordination with Badminton Pan Am.
The presentation ceremony was chaired by Enrique Rispa, writer and Para-Badminton player, Mrs. Pilar Carrillo, BPAC Chief Operating Officer, Dunia Felices, Para-Athlete and author of the photo that the book has on the cover, and Mrs. Darcy Vásquez, mother of Sergio Barboza (RIP), Peruvian Para-Badminton player. It also had the presence of managers, coaches and players of the Peruvian Para Badminton family.
‘Kikin Rispa’ found a new life purpose in December 2010 due to the amputation of his right leg, product of an aggressive cancer tumor, which metastasized to the lungs. He received chemotherapy (2011) and had two operations to the left lung (2015 and 2017). And still in the fight with good attitude.
Now, through his second book (and first novel), wants to continue sharing stories of struggle and life, through Luz, main character of Supernova, invented, who goes through facts too real that anyone could live in the fight against cancer.
