BWF announced the inclusion of a new tournament for the year 2019, the same that has been proposed as a test event for the next Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games: Japan Para-Badminton International 2019.

Dear Members and Continental Confederations
The BWF is pleased to announce that a new tournament has been added to the BWF Para badminton calendar of tournaments for 2019 (linked here).
The Japan Para badminton International 2019 will be hosted in week 46 at the Yoyogi National Stadium – the competition venue for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
This will be a really good opportunity to compete in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games competition venue. Because this is hosted in the Tokyo 2020 competition venue, some aspects of the tournament will be used as a “test event” for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games Para badminton competition.
