On March 16 and 17 the Argentine Badminton Federation (FEBARA) held a course for Shuttle Time Teachers at the facilities of the Gregorio Pomar Sports Center in Buenos Aires, with the participation of about 20 Physical Education teachers.
Alejandro Almada, FEBARA’s president, Rodrigo Cavedale, Joaquin Lopez and Pablo Piedrabuena were the tutors in charge of sharing the course with the attendees who showed great interest to train and incorporate our sport in schools, clubs and sports centers where they work.
FEBARA has been doing a very active work in the dissemination of badminton in Argentina, has held teachers courses, Shuttle Time academies for children, umpires courses, among other activities that help promote and professionalize our sport with a view to the next international competitions that will be held in this important country of Pan Am region, such as the next VI International Argentina and the Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018.
In this way, FEBARA also held, on March 10, a sports clinic with the participation of 120 students and teachers of Physical Education, which met in a National Sports Meeting at the San Fernando German Club. The participants got to know the badminton in an atmosphere of fun and with the desire to continue getting more involved in our sport thanks to the instruction of the Shuttle Time tutors Mariela Parisi and Pablo Piedrabuena.
We congratulate FEBARA for the great emotion and effective activities. Now they have scheduled a new Shuttle Time course for next May 5th and plan other development activities for the year. Keep going!
