Honduras National Badminton Federation initiated, in March, badminton classes in some schools in the country.
Through an agreement with Special Olympics, Honduran children are enjoying badminton with Shuttle Time program. Institutions such as the Psychopedagogical Institute Juana Leclerc also initiated badminton classes in March.
In addition, girls of ‘Casa de Jesus’ institution also know the Badminton thanks to Shuttle Time program that has begun there under the supervision of the coordinator Mauricio Irías.
“Badminton is an activity that offers opportunities for positive interactions for the children development, which is why we highlight our motto ‘Educating Honduras through Badminton'”, said Mauricio Irías.
