Pan Am players from Guatemala, Guyana, Mexico, Peru, Suriname, and Trinidad & Tobago won the medals of the XV Suriname International 2024, Pan Am Circuit event held in Paramaribo, from November 13 to 17.

Olympian Ines Castillo won two gold medals in this event. In Singles, Castillo began the competition as seeded 1 and defeated athletes from Suriname, Guyana, and Mexico to reach the podium top. Sabirna Solis (MEX) got the silver medal, while Priyanna Ramdhani (GUY) and Isabelle Rusli (USA) won the bronze medals. In Women’s Doubles, Castillo along with Namie Miyahira won the gold medal after defeating Chequeda De Boulet (TTO)/Priyanna Ramdhani (GUY) in the final. The bronze medals were for Crystal Leefmans/Chan Yang (SUR) and Faith Sariman/Sion Zeegeelar (SUR).
Christopher Martinez and Diana Corleto (GUA) won the Mixed Doubles gold medals. They started the event as seeded 1 duo and managed to defeat duos from Suriname and Trinidad & Tobago. Rivano Bisphan/Sion Zeegelaar (SUR) reached the silver medal and Akili Haynes/Priyanna Ramdhani (GUY) and Ryan Sinanan/Chequeda De Boulet (TTO) got the bronze medals.
In Men’s Singles, Peruvian Adriano Viale won the silver medal after defeating players from United States of America, Guyana, and Suriname to reach Semifinals where he defeated Olympian Kevin Cordon in straight games. In the final, Viale could not overcome Misha Zilberman (ISR) who finally got the gold. Cordon (GUA) and Samuel Cassar (MAL) won the bronze medals of the event.
Duos from Suriname filled the Men’s Doubles podium. Olympian Soren Opti and Mitchel Wongsodikromo won the gold medal while Rivano Bisphan/Danny Chen won the silver and Diego Dos Ramos/Al-Hassan Somedjo and Gilmar Jones/Dion Sjauw Mook got the bronze medals of the event.
The Pan Am Circuit will continue with the VI El Salvador International 2024 during this month.
